A sandwich, cut in half.

If I asked someone to make me a sandwich and they produced something made up from the equivalent of one slice of bread cut into two I would feel cheated out of half a sandwich.

The little triangle ones at weddings come under a different set of guidelines. They are pre-made for your convenience, not built under order or command. Therefore they are singular, party-size sandwiches.

Believe me I am truly gutted that I can't come, so much so that I haven't even opened the thread to see what I'm missing. I fly out on the Friday afternoon that weekend to the US to see my parents for Christmas, otherwise I would have been there (literally) with bells on. I may have to make every meet of 2006 to make up for it... god I'm saying some regrettable things on the forums today!
