I wouldn't say I have an OCD, but I certainly look after my stuff to a high standard. People ask me why I have things so old and still in mint condition... Because I take care of my stuff, apply proper maint on the items and they could potentially last forever!

I used to be really bad for stuff like this. I'm able to accept my own mistakes, but when someone else damaged my stuff it would really make me angry. The first time my gf scratched my car I was pretty miffed to say the least. Guess what, 3 new scratches this week she put on it, and I'm just a bit sad. It bugs me, but I don't rage anymore when people mess with my stuff (unless its my pc or slr, that's different).

I never lend Books, CD's, DVD's or Blu-Ray's!! I know that people will not look after them as I do! (I hate seeing a crinkled spine on a book!!).

My Computer Start Menu and Desktop is OCD tidy! (hate it when the wife saves random stuff to the Desktop!!).

My Car is Solid and Tidy, but a little rough around the edges.. hasn't been cleaned for about 8 months!!

I no longer lend DVDs or games to by best mate cos when I get them back they're scuffed to the point of almost being destroyed. I keep everything in mint condition & hate it when people don't respect that.

Depends what it is, I remember selling and buying a new tablet last year because of a stratch on the back.

Pointless I know but it bugged me, allot. :/

Snap! Its a real hate of mine, plus, the icons that are there have to be ordered, so all games of one genre may go together, media icons go on their own column, etc.

I dont go massively out of my way to protect things but I get annoyed when others do not show them what I consider reasonable care.

Take the TV remote, I bought the TV, yet I often pick up the remote and its covered in filthy greasy finger prints with no attempt to avoid or clean up afterwards. I regularly hear it being dropped on the floor (laminate) and that also annoys the hell out of me, sooner or later it will break and no one will know why...

Dont get me started on CDs/DVDs/Blurays left out of boxes because people are just too damn lazy to put them back.

Used to take no care at all (when I was really young), e.g. keeping CDs and DVDs in stacks on spindles or leaving them loose, as a result got so scratched they didn't work. So because of that I now take lots of care.

Hating dead pixels is perfectly normal IMO. I once had a TFT (when they were a new thing) with one bright red stuck pixel right in the middle, drove me absolutely mad.

Script it so documents are moved to the appropriate folder depending on file-type / amount of time on the desktop.

Personally I use Hazel to do this because I have Desktop OCD.

I'm OCD about looking after my Phone, mountain bike and my leather jackets. Really don't care about anything else I have.
