My daughters 8th birthday is in a few weeks, and we have brought her a laptop, got a cracking deal and it only cost me £200. Reason buying her that was we had planned on getting a TV, but that would require a DVD player as well as running a connection or sky box to her room. The laptop means she can watch Sky GO when she wants and all the movies etc, so seemed a better buy long term.
