ive installed the 8.2 driver suite and ran 3dmark06 with a score of 12216 so thats defo only one gpu...crossfire is enabled and in device manager it shows 2 cards and also if u unlock the overclocking bit in ati overdrive you can select the second gpu, so imo i dont think this are running in crossfire as im only getting about 40-60fps in cod4,ive tried everything except a mobo bios update,....1. tried xp home and vista premium both with dead ends, 2. tried drivers on the disk and new 8.2 drivers from website 3.tried both with one crossfire bridge and 2 bridges no good, 4. even tried swapping the cards around, both are same make and bought together (powercolor), so not looking good tbh, ive now been trying since 10am yesterday and losing it lol, i couldnt even register them cuz the powercolor make dont come up in the list???? HELP!!!!!!
ok ill try that jakus, ive tried everything so that wont hurt, i know *** the answer will be though as i am convinced that it is working one card only![]()
Yes jakus, tried that and when crossfire is enabled i get more fps, so it must be working but having said that im not convinced this is the way crossfire should be tbh, when i done 3dmark06 earlier, it only shew one card when surely it should show 2 and i got 12212 score, does that seem right or not ??? or is it just me expecting too much from these two cards, btw i was advised to take out 1 of my 4 sticks of ram too and i have also put in a power lead into the pci slot on the mobo but dont think it has made much difference m8
