how to enable crossfire?

What the hell You doing with 4gig of ram ?

32bit can only address 4GB so thats including the gfx memory

set up the System with 2 x 1gb sticks and test again and report back

i will take out 2 sticks but cant see it making a difference tbh, i will report back when done it

Great !! Then the You will proberly in the future be telling people in these forums Crossfire does not work and is too much hassle...Just exactly like Peoples View on RAID, Yeah It does Wind Me up Big time :mad:

just removed 2 gig and tried it in cod4 and seems a bit quicker for some reason and also maybe extra 10fps, now trying 3dmark06 with and without crossfire

and ive got 2 150gb raptors in raid 0 and 2 500gb samsungs in raid 0 so how would i say that didnt work ?

the results are in....3dmark06 crossfire disabled=8998....enabled=11442 so really this shows crossfire is working and talikng out the extra sticks made a difference but dont mean to be a bit of a whinger but aint 11442 very low for a crossfire setup, i was expecting a bit more tbh,but at least they are working,i think i got 200 more with a basic 8800gt though lol. As i said im glad the crossfire works but disapointed with the score jakus, maybe this wil improve with future driver support from ati and vista......p.s shall i keep both the bridges on or remove one jakus??

You only need 1 bridge
what speed is Your cpu ? and have You the latest chipset drivers?

next I need You to monitor the cards clockspeeds with riva tuner

rivatuner ok, my 6750 is at stock (would like it at 3gig) but my first overclock i had a bad crash so i thought i would read up a bit on bios b4 i tempted it again which i havent managed to do yet and i havent touched my mobo is running on original drivers from install disk, p.s jakus have u got xfire if so mine is headcase2 add me if u dont mind

Thinking about Your situation I feel You basically have added lots of potential GFX power to a very unoptimised System
I would do the following..
get the cpu to 3ghz (just with fsb) NEVER USE MOTHERBOARDS AUTO OC you should not need to overvolt the cpu
run the memory 1:1 and optimise timings (cpuz will show you what it's really running)
Turn of crossfire until You are making the full use of one card

ive monitored hardware and gpu stats on rivatuner and there is gpu activity on both gpu,s in game (COD4) but my fps has dropped to 30-45 in game, mind u my rez is 1600x1050 but when i checked earlier it was 60-70
