Temp wise, as long as you are under 90C you are going to be fine. Aim for around 85C max.
Really? Almost everything else I've read says to keep it below 80. Mine runs at about 71 degrees max.
That's just peoples personal preference. Even at 90C you aren't going to damage the card.
These things are rated to 105C for their thermal limits. So even at 90C you have a comfortable margin before it gets dangerous.
Obviously cooler is better, and go to whatever you are comfortable with. But don't panic if it goes over 80C, it won't just burst into flames![]()
That guide was spot on for my card.
Running 1200/5800 at 1.18, maxes at 63c and 39% fan speed (barely audible)
