This (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HP-Touchp...eReaders&hash=item4aae34b4cd&autorefresh=true) auction just finished. 16GB Touchpad went for <£200. Hopefully starting to see an end in sight of these silly prices. Need to give it a while longer of course.

Yeah, as the demand dies down over the coming weeks the price will begin to stabilise again. Might not get them at the rock bottom bargain prices but they will reduce. I'd pay £190 for a 32Gb and £140 for a 16Gb.

There's been 16GBs on for £199 inc delivery BIN since the price drop so that's nothing special.

Remember that as demand/hype drops so will supply so whilst you may see a few possibly drop to ~£150 there'll still be 50+ people after each auction.

Plus if Andriod is 'officially' on it, it will become more desirable.

Greebo, do you have spares now? Or are they all taken?

So, the Touchpad pages over at Expansys have disappeared and my order says 'Not Processed' :(

On the Tracking mine just says "Awaiting further info" which confirms what I have just recieved via Email.

Good, Bad but it does sound like there are some in the system. Either way at least I have the option to cancel if/when it ships.

"Hello,

We will need confirmation later on from you once we will have ETA and price for this product but for the moment there is nothing to confirm.

If HP confirm it, we will contact all backorders and let them know the new price as soon as we will have confirmed information and asked them to RE-confirm the orders before shipping them out. "

That doesn't make sense to me. Sure, as supply dwindles we are forced into a small pool, but if demand fall too, then there are less fish in the pool, and they are only willing to pay a certain amount, which forces prices down naturally.

lol supply and demand

supply has ran out therefore prices rise, i doubt you will see any go for less than £150, in fact im willing to bet on it.

even if demand falls, prices will only fall slightly, then demand will rise again, that's how it works.

they will be all sold out before it hits the £150 mark.

Expansys "Your order will be processed soon. Our order processing team work 8am - 6pm weekdays"

This makes sense, since they will have a list of pre-orders, but cannot yet confirm the price, hence the orders are in the pre-process stage.
