Oh frustration. I login this morning and decide to check sites for stock. After one F5 JL starts showing 1 32GB in stock so I add it to my basket and checkout.... except my checkout then continues to empty itself. I call up and I'm told they can't order it as it doesn't show up as being on the system and nobody else has ordered it.

Confused and disappointed again.
 
They told me to call back later but to be honest I laughed that off, they'll be swarmed and there's 1. They wouldn't take my details to reserve it.
 
It is showing as "out of stock" again now, but at least it is still on their website.

I wonder if this is a sign that they could be getting a few more in... we can but hope! ;)

With the bank holiday plus it's usually 5 working days I suspect it will drop off automatically tomorrow :( if the order goes through they would just charge it again I would assume.

Just checked this morning. On the HP site still shows as 'in progress' but the money (£69) has been returned to my available balance. The dodgy link is dead me thinks.

Mine updated to "backorder payment open ETA:16/09/2011" yesterday following an "accepted" email.

Unfortunately I don't think there is any way to add your name onto a waiting list now, so I guess these will go to the many back orders they must still have in their system.

I would still love to be able to order one though! :)
 
From the rumours on the web, all of the final run will be passed directly to retailers, there will be none available for HP Business customers / corporates - so you may get lucky.

Yeah, you should have told them the only chance they had of one was from me (and would include sexual favours but only if they are hotties)
