Okay (and I'm being deadly serious here!).

I've just got confirmation from someone I know that works for HP and prices are going to be as follows -

16GB - £89
32GB - £115

Bad news? The time frame is 'possibly by the end of the week'.

It seems the earlier reports of that were correct. I suppose it could change, but it doesn't look like it.

Their engineers say they'll have Android running on it within 2 weeks.

Either that or you just looked at

It's better information than I got from HP, who just replied to my e-mail with:

Reaaaally helpful.

So basically, we've got to sit around on tenterhooks for a week, waiting for the price to drop so we can all bum rush the site, causing catastrophy, sites to be down, business to be lost on said sites, etc? :(

This is lame. I wanted to get a tab so I could be one of the cool geeks at work. :(

This doesn't make sense. Why allow the U.S. and the rest of the EU have their price drop, yet wait a whole week in the UK?

Buy one now online, have it delivered, leave in packaging, get refund after price drop and win or send it back under DSR and get a full refund, not win but not a lose.
