Okay (and I'm being deadly serious here!).
I've just got confirmation from someone I know that works for HP and prices are going to be as follows -
16GB - £89
32GB - £115
Bad news? The time frame is 'possibly by the end of the week'.
It seems the earlier reports of that were correct. I suppose it could change, but it doesn't look like it.
Their engineers say they'll have Android running on it within 2 weeks.

In this countryBy the end of the week there may well be none left![]()
So basically, we've got to sit around on tenterhooks for a week, waiting for the price to drop so we can all bum rush the site, causing catastrophy, sites to be down, business to be lost on said sites, etc?
This is lame. I wanted to get a tab so I could be one of the cool geeks at work.![]()
Either that or you just looked at
http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/22/hp-touchpad-tops-amazon-us-sales-rumored-for-uk-price-drop/
This doesn't make sense. Why allow the U.S. and the rest of the EU have their price drop, yet wait a whole week in the UK?
For £115 you might as well go for the 32GB.
