Even if this happens, Amazon won't update for ages afterwards that - and the HP site is going to be obliterated.

BTW congrats to anyone that has got one - just please make sure you do a useful review with pics please. No doubt theyll eventually turn up on ebay at a slightly inflated price, might still tempt some of us once we know what it is we are buying...

Okay (and I'm being deadly serious here!).

I've just got confirmation from someone I know that works for HP and prices are going to be as follows -

16GB - £89
32GB - £115

Bad news? The time frame is 'possibly by the end of the week'.

It seems the earlier reports of that were correct. I suppose it could change, but it doesn't look like it.

Their engineers say they'll have Android running on it within 2 weeks.

In the rest of the world people waited until the price ACTUALLY dropped.

Of course not in the UK. It would be really funny that they did not drop the price and any returned were just refunded and sent back to HP instead who resold them in the US or European markets.
