In what way do you find them 'different, or is it just the OS?
 
just the os primarily and the lack of widgets and custom home screen. Am sure I will get used to it. App catalog seems limited too but for £80 I can't complain.
 
Also, what's the best RSS reader out there?

I preferably want something like Reeder on my iphone, where I can mark messages as read when I swipe to the right...

What time did you order on Friday? I ordered pretty late around 6pm, got my first email straight away and 2 emails yday but still no dispatch email?

I ordered the 32 GB 'bundle' from PCW at 18:00 on Friday, and received the despatch email at 21:00 last night. Mind you I did receive the 'preparation' emails on Friday evening also, so it does look as if I was slightly ahead of you in the queue.

The final dispatch email also included a tracking number for Yodel (was DHL) whose website advises me that it is out for delivery today, which is good news! :)

Hopefully you will hear something from them today!
 
I ordered a 32gb bundle at 3pm, received the first two emails straight away, but nothing since. My credit card has been charged. But no despatch email yet. I picked standard delivery. Nobody at home today hope it comes tomorrow for me birthday!
 
FYI, I just popped into a CPW in Cardiff. The guy said they'd never had the TouchPad in stock (although they sell other tablets). He looked on the system for me, though, and said there were 77 showing in the warehouse, but he was unable to order them. He didn't know what they were for or how to get hold of them, but thought they might be for online orders of some sort.

Yeah, they can't be ordered. My bro works in cpw and tried getting me a tp on the 24th, failed :-(

My original ETA was the 16th so no idea what is going on. I don't want to call them incase they cancel my order.
 
John Lewis has put them back up on their site and they weren't there yesterday. Showing out of stock but worth wathcing since they got some unexpectantly last week.
