It's quite annoying as they just seem to be doing it at random, as some people are hearing nothing despite ordering before people with dispatch mails.

I'm one of them.
 
Meh the purple shirt people are ****. I placed my order at 1.24pm for a 16gb and I have just got an email saying out of stock despite people receiving ones they ordered later and have later order numbers.

Looks like they allocated all stock to people who paid extra for speedy delivery perhaps?

I don't think so, as lots are reporting normal delivery. Unless the system goes off last names alphabetical order or something, as demand for a product is not that high so do don't normally it does not matter who get it's first.

And I'm way down the list on names R last name.
 
It's probably 32gb that people are getting delivered. I ordered my 32gb bundle around 6pm with standard free delivery, last name T, and should get mine today/tomorrow

Nope definitely 16gb. I have seen at least 4 people now on hduk with later order numbers and a later time for 16gb and they have received the Touchpad. Equally have seen people with earlier order times and numbers than me been told they are out of stock.

The same was true with Mobiles.co.uk last week.
 
I don't like to put names on here, but I wonder if it made any difference which of the three DSG sites the orders were placed on?

It does seem a bit of a lottery with the 16 GB models, but I haven't yet heard of anyone who ordered the 32 GB 'bundle' before 6 pm on Friday, who has actually received an 'Out of Stock' email, and I think that most of us have received our deliveries today.

It is just a bit of a pain that they wanted another £50 for them! :(
 
I think the 32gb sold slowly due to the extra £50 premium when it should have just been £25.

And yes, it seems a total lottery on who gets their 16gb order. From what I can make out they oversold the 16gb by 38 before they put the site to OOS. I think they just went down the raffle route as to who the unlucky 38 were.
 
Well i got my confirmation email for the 16gb kit from PCWorld today...but because I also got my CPW order yesterday it is either going to a friend, family, on here or DSR.

I ordered at 13.15pm
