HTC "DLX" - 5" 1080p screen, 1.5GHz Quadcore Krait, Adreno320 GPU

Many thanks Nexus18 :)

I've made a comparison between the two weighted according to my specific needs - and it's a tie

It would be so easy for HTC to solve the power button placement, rgb led, usb flap and 2020mah battery negatives surely

Just break the USB flap of :p, problem solved! :D

They will no doubt release a deluxe + or whatever in like 4-5 months time, which will have a bigger battery, SD slot or/and more internal storage, typical business strategy by them now

Also correct me if I am wrong, but I could have sworn some review site said that those red strips aren't speakers (the speaker is on the back), just simply a mesh strip for aesthetic purposes.

Some people may say Stock Android is a plus not a negative....

Personal preference thing.

The only thing I really like about stock android is the theme/colour scheme used. Sense has the better apps and more feature rich IMO especially the camera, dialer, gallery (although the new 4.2 gallery looks much better now) amongst some other things, speed and smoothness is not as much of a problem these days (especially with 4.1) and any signs of bloat with regards to loads of apps being installed can be disabled through the app settings, meaning they don't use any resources and won't show anywhere on the phone.

one word = WOW!

Have never really been bothered about sharpness especially for text, it is more the colours of the screen that I love, but that looks seriously good! :p

The nexus 4 looks great there, I would say second best.

Looks like a lovely phone but only 16GB is a bit annoying. I'd still put it in my "possibles" though, as I've been very happy with my EVO 3D :-)

Just looking to see if it has an hdmi port on it... I'm sick of MHL.

As far as I'm concerned, the battery life is well into the 'acceptable' category. Having lived with a Desire HD for 2 and a bit years, the numbers are looking pretty good actually. The only thing that'll stop me upgrading as soon as the phone becomes available is the thought that HTC might release a 'DNA+' in 6 months with bigger battery and onboard storage.

Ginga

Same - also looking at this after more than 2 years with my DHD

Hopefully they remove the USB flap and fix the power button placement and include DC-HDSPA and RGB LED

That would be the perfect phone in my eyes
