**HTC HD2 Thread**

ordered mine today from o2, £33pm 18month contract free phone.

is this a good deal
how did you manage this mate. the phones not out yet on o2. did you go through someone else and if so then who. also, what did you get for your £33 a month

whats it like watchin video on this phone?

does it play avi/divx or do you have to convert them first?

I've tried with a couple of Avi's, neither worked. Had to convert them to mp4 in teh end. They then played, but with the occasional skip in the video and it sometimes gets out of sync, then speeds up the video to catch up with the audio

Hmm... Xperia X10 or HD2.... Well apparently the HD2 isn't coming to Orange, so that may be a primary issue, hopefully the X10 will. Secondly, despite HTC's superb efforts to disguise WM 6.5, it's still just a shell surely... Hmm...

I'm afraid I'd beg to differ, I've been told by a friend who works for Orange that it will be coming to Orange, can't wait as I really want this phone and he can get me it with a 30% discount on my contract :D

I beg to differ also, considering I came from Orange to Vodafone and this phone I was told by the Orange operative Orange WOULD NOT be stocking this phone.

Thats odd as the original HD played normal AVIs from the get go.

For those that have one how would you describe the overall feel? Does it feel nicely weighted or light and plasticky, i love the balance of my MDA compact 4 but found the compact 5 to feel very cheap and light weight.

It looks massive in some of those photos, very wide.

People are saying it feels very solid and well built (heavy, but not overly heavy) and yes it is quite wide. Some people find it uncomfortable for single-handed texting.

Any more pics of the T-Mobile HD2 please? (esp. the software!)

thanks!

The phone is indeed nicely weighted and is built to a very high standard, there is nothin plastic about this handset thats for sure.

I'll admit it takes a bit of getting used to in terms of sheer size but its a joy to use when you do!

Texting probably, I have BIG hands and can only just type on the HD with one hand, the HD2 is wider still so...
