**HTC HD2 Thread**

thats strange. i phoned them earlier, after reading this thread and they said they wouldnt be getting them in until the end of the month and this the 4th or 5th time ive phoned to ask. whats going on?

Don't know mate, I got mind though the retentions dept, try them

I've just got this on a 18 month contract, 700 free mins, 500 texts and free data for £35/month on Vodafone. Handset was £32.50. Is that a decent deal? I mean I'm happy with it, probably going to sell it for a Motorola Milestone once they start selling them sim free in the UK.

You can get 1200 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and a free handset for £35pm (18 months) if you go through Quidco for the cashback, otherwise it's £40pm.

I dont think I could have gone the Quidco route as I'm an existing customer and wanted to keep my number, I got the phone as an upgrade.

No I was at the end of my contract...

Changing the subject slightly, can this phone do push Gmail? Are there any Google apps (maps, calendar) available for WinMo?

The HD2 isn't showing up in T-Mobile's shop anymore, argh!

Get it through MobilePhonesDirect, it's what I did to become a T-mobile customer. A bonus is that the phone is unbranded one, so no tampering by the opreators.

My HD2 allows has a Google Maps app, and allows you to specifically set up a GMail account.

It's more expensive on there though and no cashback from Quidco either!

Just had the worst online chat on the T-Mobile site ever... anyway finally a real person jumped in and said the HTC HD2 will be back in stock tomorrow.

Is that direct from Vodafone?

On the Vodafone website the deal you mentioned on 18 month contract is £45, the 900 minutes deal is £40 though which with the £90 quidco would be £35.

It says PLUS 300 extra minutes, unlimited land lines and unlimited email. I assumed because it says plus and because the other two things aren't in the normal package that the 300 is added onto the 900 standard? May be wrong!

Edit: Seems I'm right. When you add it to basket is says this:

Code:
Plan
18 month
[B]900 mins[/B]
Unltd texts
£40

[B]+ 300 extra minutes - exclusively online[/B]
+ Unlimited land lines
+ Unlimited mobile internet and webmail

I thought that was included in the 900 mins stated i.e 600 standard for that tariff + 300 extra

*edit* just spoke with someone on the vodafone live chat thing on their website and they said it's included in the minutes stated
