**HTC HD2 Thread**

How are you people getting this free! The cheapest T-Mobile could offer me the HD2 for (in store) was £260! (and that's on a 2 year ~£35 tariff).

Might as well switch to Vodafone and get it for free :/

Gonna call them today to see if I can get a better deal over the phone :(

Was free for me mate, seems to be going free on all networks with new deals. Just cal them up and quote the vodafone deal and they will surely match it at least.

Still enjoying the handset but I made the mistake of using the allign screen option, seems to have made things less acurate than default. Think after a few attempts its back to normal :P

Took some shots with the camera in a club on saturday night and it seemed pretty decent. The flash is powerful enough which helps but unless u are static it blurs like typical handset cameras.

MobilePhonesDirect :) That's where I got mine. Phone was free and unbranded (i.e. no tampering by operator).

I'm really umming and arring over who to go with for this. Options seem to be (all with free handset and unlimited web):

18 months
T-Mobile (via MobilePhonesDirect): 700/unlimited - £34.26
T-Mobile (direct): 700/unlimited - £31.50 minus £35 cashback = £29.55
Vodafone: 900/unlimited - £40 minus £90 cashback = £35 + 12 free cinema tickets

24 months
Vodafone: 900/unlimited - £35 minus £90 cashback = £31.25 + 12 free cinema tickets
Vodafone Biz: 750/unlimited - £30 minus £100 cashback = £25.80

Or wait for O2 to list it as well. I really don't want to go for a 24 month contract, I would prefer to be with Vodafone (after O2) but T-Mobile is the cheapest (once they get it back in stock). Argh! My contract runs out on 1 Dec and I've got my PAC ready and waiting for when I decide what to do.

I couldn't decide either but in the end I went with Vodafone same as jrodga2k5.
£40 a month on the 18month plan with the Quidco cash back then insurance on top which is £6.99 as I do not trust myself in clubs :)

The handset from them is completely unbranded as you know plus the carry pouch is included.
Vodafone customer service has been great to for the few queries I had e.g adding insurance, getting content lock removed etc.

In my opinion it will be a lot easier to get the phone directly from the operator so that if you ever have a problem you only have 1 company to scream at instead of getting it through a third party like mobilePhonesDirect.
Even more so if you went for insurance for example.

If you would prefer to be with Vodafone then go with them imo.

Has anyone actually recieved their handset from o2 yet. its been a nightmare. my order went through last night but this morning they told me it wasnt in stock?

According to my wife , my phone that I order last week from O2 has been delivered:D

Has any one got a case or screen protector yet??

This is pretty helpful when trying to decide, has all 3 operators and it shows the total price that you'd pay over the length of the contract, the only thing is that for some reason it doesn't show Vodafone's 12 month contracts.
