**HTC HD2 Thread**

You really don't need one IMO

This

Doesn't it come with a small (and rather tidy-looking) slip case in the box?

Yes it does, a really nifty case at that which does a great job at protection and not bulky at all :)

Battery life is awesome too for what it is...

100% this morning (6:30am)

42% at this moment (10:33pm)

This includes 1hour of internet browsing, countless texts sent throughout the day, a good few phone calls also made and some image browsing etc.

is there any operator branding on the phone from o2 and how many people have noticed the pink tinge in photos?

I agree the case is not bulky, but it's a pain to get the phone out of to answer a call. Has any one seen any other cases yet??

Rang Tmobile to try get it but they don't have any till end of week or something .. I'm so impatient haha I find it hard waiting!

Had a play with it today and I'm sold. Question is do I go with T-Mobile through MobilePhonesDirect for £34.26 or Vodafone direct for £40 (plus £90 cashback, so equates to £35).

What's better - going direct or ensuring it's unbranded?

T-Mobile has better data plans than Voda, Web n Walk rocks.

Also, I think there is a quidco/topcashback deal with Mobiles.

i received mine yesterday and am very impressed with the quality of workmanship. however the software does makes you felt a bit dissapointed having owned an iphone before. However I quickly realised how much more potential this phone has with various customisation with settings. Atm I'm still trying to figure out how to use BBC iplayer to play in proper resolution that matches the iphone, does anyone knows if this is possible?

Tempted by this but my contract with O2 is up for review at the end of Feb. With O2 apparently being pretty crap with retentions these days I'm considering:

- Selling my Touch Diamond (Never use it) to a mobile recycle site for ~£85.
- Buying this HD2 'Pay + Go'.
- Going onto simplicity for £20pcm.

Most likely choice: Stop being an impatient geek and wait for contract renewal to haggle with O2 for this on another 18month contract or get PAC and leave for T-mobile/Voda + cashback via quidco :D

I got mine, looks very very nice but I cant use it as it is locked to 02. I tried to order the code from some of the online sellers but they dont seem to have it, any other ideas?

O2 said it will take 28 days
