**HTC HD2 Thread**

I usually just do it to watch TV programs on the bog or in the bath. I only really stream over wifi and I could probably take advantage of the wireless-N on the phone. If I can get it to work, that is.
 
just in case anyone was having problems with activesync and windows 7, as I was - phone would just NOT connect. I updated the admittedly elderly BIOS on my motherboard (Asus P7P55D) from 0403 to 1207 - works perfectly now :)
still contemplating whether to flash the HD2 ROM. I suppose O2 releasing their own update is fairly unlikely? :p
 
Is there an app I can use to listen to internet radio such as di.fm?

Also what is the best way to play music, and is there a way to sync my playlists from itunes?

My phone is being exchanged tomorrow because of this lazy/dead pixel, so I am just in the process of backing up the small amount of personal data I have put on the phone. Are text messages held on the SIM? I got one of these scam premium rate messages today and am in the process of looking into it and don't want to lose the original message.
 
After a bit of reading around in the manual I found that you go into All Messages then into the individual message, click on said message and the menu for it comes up offering both Copy to Sim and Move to Sim. I then did a factory reset to remove my email login details and it is now ready to go.

Can't wait to get the new one and finally get down to customising it. The lady on the phone even suggested I keep my 2GB SD card to back up my pics to so I will leave the new 2GB card untouched with the CoPilot on if I ever need to go back to a factory version.

Yer that part had occured to me but since I found the problem with the phone and got them to agree an exchange, I just didn't read up any more on the phone and its functions until I get the new one.

Daft I suppose :)
 
I've just ordered the Emartbuy Premium car kit for HD2. Dunno how good it is but it comes with charger and screen protector. The Fonem8 one seemed a bit too cheap.
 
I'm on the lookout for a free itunes remote app, if anyone can point me in the right direction that'd be great. I had one on the iphone and palm pre and really miss controlling apple tv via my mobile. :p

Yeah I guess I was going by the reviews and knowing what I'm like with sandpaper :D

What I've ordered might turn out to be poor but atleast it should mean I don't have to modify it in anyway.
 
Does anyone else get really wonky weather readings? All last night it decided it was bright sunshine and today whilst it is indeed cloudy as it says, the moon is most definitely not out. It's like it's got the whole am/pm readings upside down.
 
yep, but then realised I had swiped up to hong kong - check where it is looking at (not the settings as this will still say home) but you get an option of 4, check its on 1

ps - rubbish explanation sorry!
 
Does anyone have any idea when this is likely to be available on Orange? I've gone through the last 20 or so pages and can't see any mention of it, but I'm torn between either the HD2, or the Hero.
