Do you mean you're getting delivery reports on the text messages you send?

If so, i'm pretty sure you can turn that off in the options menu in the Messages section

Menu > Settings > Options

Then Untick "request delivery report" (you don't get charged for them btw)

I've done all that. Its the same notification as 'You have new mail'.

If I don't get charged then thats fine... just worried about getting charged for delivery reports.

Actually, thinking about it. They might be the "message successfully sent" messages that HTC included in an update (due to the fact that the phone would randomly stop sending messages - and they'd get stuck in the outbox).

So what you're getting might simply be those notifications.

Yes have just updated my phone, so hopefully they are just notifications (like the new mail one) :)

I will see when I get my next bill I guess - then I will have to handle anything then.

I've noticed this on mine. Only been happening for about a month. I don't really use the app but I'd imagine it happened when I flashed the ROM. I've since tried another ROM hoping it would fix it but it's still the same.
 
A delivery notification will be sent as a text message and will arrive in your inbox, the sent notification will only appear as a htc/windows notification, the latter is not chargeable afaik.

think it time to buy 1 again now that 2.2 works well plus win mobile 7 cant far behind what a phone and its been out a year :)
