**HTC HD2 Thread**

yep, but then realised I had swiped up to hong kong - check where it is looking at (not the settings as this will still say home) but you get an option of 4, check its on 1

ps - rubbish explanation sorry!

Yeah it was on the right one but what I did was to move the selection onto another one and then back. That seems to have woken it up.

You will get tts if you follow this

;)

Thanks for that info m8. I plan to sub to CoPilot but currently I am using the stock rom and intend to stay on it at least for the next month. Am I best activating the CoPilot trial I have then deleting the folder and redownloading? Or just buy CoPilot direct from the site and install from scratch?

On a side note, where do I store cabs that I want to run on the SD? Do I name a particular folder?

I bought direct from the website and activate the trial initially, and there was no tts, then used a cooked rom, no tts, and now back to official 1.66 rom. I only noticed the tts started to work on the official rom (with formatted SD card) using the link above so I'm not sure if it will work on the dutty rom, can't do any harm trying as I went from the dutty rom to official and all is fine now.

Do you mean the cabs for general apps or copilot? For general apps it doesn't matter, just make a folder called apps. If you install the dutty rom, make a folder in the root called autoinstall and it will auto install your cabs when you do a hard reset. For copilot, extract the folder from the zip (folder is named copilot) and copy that whole folder to the root of the card, so it would be E:\copilot\all files

Thanks for that m8. Slowly getting my head round it now. Just trying to work out how to access my IP Camera now over the network. Got it to 1s delay but can't get full motion working in the flash applet. Guess I have got some more playing around to do.

Has anyone come across and tweaks or apps that show your current position coordinates? plenty of programs show position graphically on maps and such but i would like the figures.
i've come across ones that show this info on the home screen on the bare WM but not for sense UI

even better would be an app that showed the BNG grid positions accurate to 6 or 8 figures but maybe i'm getting a bit optimistic.
just wondering if any such application existed.

i've tryed looking on the xda site but christ its a bit of a nightmare looking through those forums and had no luck.

there are quite a few gps programs that will do this, check out opn market (free prog with for free apps)

if you have bought co pilot it has this feature too

Yeah I guess I was going by the reviews and knowing what I'm like with sandpaper :D

What I've ordered might turn out to be poor but atleast it should mean I don't have to modify it in anyway.

My original post on it said that they've changed the mould since those reviews and no modification/sandpaper is required :).

cheers! found a program on opnmarket that does the job and seems like quite a handy little tool.
GPS Sports Tracker

would still love to find something that converts lat/long to OS national grid coordinates, although i think i may be asking a bit too much:D i'll keep looking though.
there is a pretty simple website that seems to work well for converting wgs84 to osgb36, if it can be done on there then i'm sure it can be made to work with one of these types of programs.

anyway nevermind, cheers for pointing me in the right direction, there are loads of interesting little programs on there:D

Is there an app I can use to listen to internet radio such as di.fm?
Also what is the best way to play music, and is there a way to sync my playlists from itunes?

cheers

This is something I am still very keen to find out. Anyone streaming internet radio yet?

Well a bit of searching has brought up Pocket Player for WM. I have downloaded the trial, installed it and copy/pasted the vocaltrance.pls from DI.FM to my My Documents/My Music and then browsed to it from the player. Seems to be coping fine, not sure how well it will do over 3G but certainly ideal over my network.

30 day trial here

Hope this helps a little..
