Lol, I actually think I know what you mean. I really wanted an iPhone but my contract didn't expire till October, so I decided to go for the Magic on upgrade.

I thought it would be an inferior alternative but I've actually fallen in love with it. It's very different from the iPhone but equally as good. Sure, the apps and OS are a little immature, but they work very well most of the time and there is huge potential there.

Any recommendations for skype? The skype lite app seems pants :S.

is there anyway on the phone to see how many minutes you have been using and how many text's you sent.. on my sony I could check.

Chompsms counts the messages, and also looks a fair bit better than the default app

My sister has a phonesock on her phone so I wanted one for mine, of course the HTC pouch protects it better but a sock will be handy to keep if I lose the HTC one or when the HTC one loses its nice look (being white and all!)

Was only a few quid on eBay

I bought the official HTC black pouch (same as the one that came with the magic but black) to try and "man-up" my phone a bit. it certainly does that and there's no chance of it getting grimey. was a tenner though! (via expansys).
