its kinda weird how this mobile sorts sms , there is no inbox , sent items , delivery reports folders etc. All in one folder. Will take me a while to get used to it me thinks

Is there an app that will let me specify different screen fadeouts and lockouts depending on whether the phone is charging or connected via USB? Was thinking of looking at Locale but it wants me to upgrade and it now seems to be a paid app?

Yeah. I tried to run Locale the other day and it wanted me to upgrade; all I got was the paid app version. Couldn't find a free version anywhere.

Your phone may experience an issue dialing emergency services. Disable GPS to prevent this problem: Menu>Settings>Location>uncheck Enable GPS satellites. HTC

I bet it will be 2.1 and not 2.0(.1). It's not logical to provide 2.0.x when 2.1 is out.

Is there a decent in car solution for the magic yet that allows you to dock your phone to charge from the 12v socket and have 3.5mm audio jack to connect to the radio?

can you sync the magic with windows 7 ? latest apps and drivers installed

Sync? Sync what? The magic doesn't support syncronization unless it's with a google account OTA.

If you mean mass storage and using the Android SDK then it works fine.

I'm not sure what you mean..............
