Has anyone successfully got the Rom upgrade to work that is on the HTC website.

There two different roms one for the HTC Magic and the other for the HTC Magic Vodafone. If you select the vodafone version it ask for your phone serial number and checks if you have the right phone before allowing you to download the updated. SO far so good for me but when i tied installing in it comes up with a USB (170) error.

mines a 32A as its a Italian TIM HTC Magic unlocked
but im running the latest cyanogenmod anyway

been looking at the Desire, looks sweet. maybe ill flash my Magic to Vegas legend ROM and just pretend.

I will no longer have a Magic so won't be Cyanogening with you all unless Cyan switches to HTC Desire development

I think you'll need to lurk this thread and help me when I start noobing out. I'll try my best not to break it though!

Probably been asked yonks ago, but with Google Navigation now available on the HTC Magic, can anyone recommend a decent-ish car kit for the phone? Mount and charger?

Or are they more-or-less the same on fleBay?

When did that become available? I just checked mine and it's there
