I told retentions:
I was looking around other providers
I wouldn't consider anything above a 12 month contract as my usage is high and handsets wear out quickly
I knew i could get the same handset free elsewhere
They were helpful, immediately said handset would be free and spent the rest of the time tailoring my package (and saving me more than £10 a month)
Was on an old talk 60 plan - £20 - 60 minutes and 100 texts.
My current contract expired 8 moths ago and have held on before renewing because of lack of decent handsets, have been a customer for over 4 years, bills regularly £35-40 and that was it. Just asked what deal they could offer me to stay with them, advisor came back with £25 18 months and I just asked if any thing they could do with insurance or drop to £20 and he said ok.
