Yeah it's true no matter how bad you feel if you start a workout feeling s**** most of the time it turns out to be a good one.
Yeah genuinely gutted about the Vive I thought it was excellent and really enjoyed playing it would recommend it to any-one. I said it was the future of gaming which I still think it will be, but at the same time I hope it won't. Not sure if future VR releases will be better for me but I doubt it.
I set SS to 1.5 and had 90fps all the time so it wasn't really lack of fps. Warping around in Budget Cuts or anything else was really bad causing really cold clammy sweats, I felt like a 5 year old that had played to much "dizzy dinosaur" when I came off the Vive, but it lasted the rest of the day.
Seems you are able to use ATW (Asynchronous Time Warp (frame rate smoothing)), as used by the Rift, with a Vive by using OSVR runtimes

Might try and give this a go today if I get a moment as this would be great.
Sent my base station in for repair 2 weeks ago and not heard a peep since, pretty terrible service. They should be sending out replacements straight away, why should i have to wait when i didn't damage it?
Apparently it should only be used for seated games, not roomscale, where the steam VR version is best suited.
Tried it but not sure if it's working or not, can't find any real instructions, setup a few things and performance and visuals look the same.
Knowing which way to fall and be close to a toilet
Ha, well I generally fall in the direction of the ground. Should I be learning to fall another way?
Are there any free flight sim games with VR support I can try out?

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered myself a Vive, arriving tomorrow.
Any advice, things I should be looking out for on my first go with it?
