HTC Vive

So I shouldn't of worried about express delivery then! What a debacle but then I'm not back the UK till this evening. Any news what HTC are doing regarding express orders with 5 day delivery times or is it a case of its all down to the individual to complain to get refund?

Yup, my payment has expired as of this morning (Lloyds). Well done HTC/Digital River! If anything I'd have thought this makes the chances of it getting blocked when its charged a second time much higher?

Effectively rules out any chances of getting it this week too :(

Yes, the individual will need to raise a complaint with HTC

Considering all of the CC shipments that went out yesterday were shipped Economy with an ETA of Monday, you had no chance receiving it this week anyway

Haha true, although all the ones that went out the day before to the UK were 1 day shipping! Really don't know what HTC are playing at!

Oh, and fair play to the devs - they've dropped the price of Final Approach to a far more realistic £15 from £25ish. I'll buy that now. Hopefully The Gallery: Call of the Starseed devs do something similar. Over 20quid for a game with 2 hours of gameplay is taking the pee no matter how well designed it is.

Like they mentioned on the Giantbomb review, devs are just in the mindset that if you are willing to spend $800 on a piece of hardware well why not xx amount for a game, who cares if it's just a poo PoC. So basically trying to fleece us :D

If you though Greenlight was bad before, now they have VR to create their 'masterpieces' and poop them out.

But it's going back to full price on the 20th. Yet even at the reduced price, I feel that's also way too high for essentially a upgraded phone game.

So far the best "Game" I've tried is the little archery game in The Lab. It actually gets more fun back in the lobby afterwards but you'll see why.

So any full archery, duck shoot, fair ground simulators are on my list to try. I still fondly remember those interactive airgun shooting ranges from my youth. Hit a target and something happens.

Plus I've never had tired arms from playing a simple gallery shooter!

Ah cheers I will.

That reminded me that the simple things like dawdling on the white board in the lobby area for several minutes is surprisingly appealing.

Never had the urge to do that in my training center when we had over 50 huge enameled boards.

From their blog: "We will be issuing a refund of the shipping cost difference to all customers who paid for express shipping but received economy shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience."
