Yeah just to confirm I also paid in advance via PP just received notification of shipping in progress with a tracking number from the CzechRepublic. My order processed at 15:09 on the pre-order day.

Unbelievable. There's a Vive pre-order on the bay with ETA 11th April for £1,499.99. Anyone except the wealthiest people would be nuts to pay that.

I spoke to support on live chat asking if any more emails will be sent out today and they said they can't guarantee anything so looks unlikely for CC today

Wow that is such crap if true.

I got my order in after 3 mins of opening, paid by CC and have a pending charge, and no dispatch email.

Just because I chose CC I get it later? So much for that £50 delivery...

HTC should refund the delivery charges IMO. Oculus have done.

Amazing that both these companies have managed to completely stuff up the launch of their wonderful new products... It was a good chance for HTC to shine and show their bigger experience of large scale product launches!

Good news that for some at least it is starting to ship. I reckon most of you will still have vives in hand significantly earlier than my 8th minute rift!

This brave new era of VR has begun with a shambles! Not quite the bang we all would have hoped for... Hopefully within a few minutes of actually putting on the HMD's all will be forgotten lol.
