***Hudl2***

Well, it's fine for my use - browsing, catch up, music and the odd game. The performance boost over my Tegra 7 is noticeable, so I'm a happy camper :)

Edit: it also seems that the screen protector is the cause of missed inputs, when using a light ish touch. Picked up a 'soft touch' case for mine instead, happy with this setup.

yeh my hudl 1 needed a harder touch on the back button area but since the last update its been ok, no such problems on the hudl 2, it seems just right, apparently its a LG ips panel this time :)

7GB bloatware is pretty awful! Only 9GB left! If it was 8GB bloatware / 8GB free space. No ones will buy it!

Plenty of people will buy it especially as you can get it dirt cheap with clubcard vouchers that double up with boost.

In case anyone is about to buy one of these there's a code that gives 1500 clubcard vouchers when you spend £60 on shopping online, so with boost that gives you £30 off the hudl + whatever other vouchers you already have. So even if you don't already have points that's £30 off making the Hudl2 £99. New accounts or first order on an account only but you can just create a new one with a different email if need be. Today's the last date to add it as the points are converted to vouchers tomorrow, do shopping today... buy HUDL tomorrow for cheap.

Code : XXGKLX

To check if you can use it on your account just fill your basket with £60 of stuff and apply the code at checkout to see if it works, if not then just empty your basket. Plus you get £15 £12 off your first grocery shop too.

Edit - can't use the £12 off the first shop with the 1500 points code, can only use one or the other. I just tried.

The 'bloatware' is nothing but a few Tesco apps which if you don't use only appear in the app drawer, they are hardly in your face and its very well done. They also dont take up 7gb so I'm not sure where the hell you pulled that number out of.

Its a great tablet, got mine yesterday and its honestly an utter bargain.

7GB bloatware, have you any idea how many Android apps that would be :p unless they are annotated with Full HD video I highly doubt that figure.

Considering getting one of these as got a £15 off Tesco Direct evoucher last week.

On my Clubcard statement it says that the collection period for the next statement ends today (16/10). That means that we clubcard users should be getting their November statements through in the next few days.

I should have enough to get £124 off a Hudl 2 :) That's my 8 year old's christmas present sorted....

Anyone know if the last Hudl received any OS updates? Will the 2 be on Kitkat forever?

Mine is £49.99 for Hudl 2 with clubcard collection. Sorry u are right, my mistake bloatware is 2GB out of the box after auto updated apps from google play is 7GB in use.

Hudl 2 are rumour that it will not let u updating to latest OS updates and never will be. It's was LOCKED to Tesco default - very difficult to unlock it to get ROM's flash.

No, it won't. Hudl 2 remain on kitkat 4.4.2 and that's to stay forever.

While that's probably a safe assumption as the OS wasn't updated on the HUDL 1 it is by no means set in stone. No one knows whether the 2 will get updates or not, all anyone can do is make guesses based on the previous tablet for the time being.
