** HUGE PRICE DROPS - PLANTRONICS GAMECOM 380 and 780 GAMING HEADSETS **

Hi Guys

Just to update you all, we have about 20 of the 780 headsets left. we have had orders for more stock since last week but it hasn't landed at our distribution partners yet so we may not have stock for around a week.

Obviously I am doing everything I can to avoid this, but the headset is very popular and I dont think Plantronics have forcasted for the demand.

as soon as I get news, I will get an update on here for you all.

and a nice price drop on the 380 :)

its not 6 ft long. but then most headsets aren't.

you could always get an extension. or if you are looking for a USB version on the 780 then just get a USB extension cable which are nice and easy to find and cheap too :) [stock is due to land of that cable any day now according to Andrew Moore]

cheers for the info, I might just order a pair and get an extension.

For less than 20 quid ill get these as a back up pair.

I've used Creative Fatality since they have been released (on my 3rd set?) so if they are better build quality and sound good that will be nice... anyway <£20 who cares? :)

Received the headset today. Great service from Ocuk ordered tuesday delivered thursday afternoon all the way to Malta.

On first impression when you wear the headset you say wow these are heavy but with time you get used and they are really comfy.

The sound is something out of the extraordinary especially with music. I did not try the surround mode yet but plan to do that when I play some ME3 later in the evening.

Great set of cans and for the price I am really happy with my purchase.

My Sony MDR-XD200 Headphones are dying and I looking forward to buy new headphones.

Found Plantronics GameCom 380 Headset for only £18.90 including delivery.

Never used this brand before, so might have a go and for £18.90 I believe it is real bargain?
any other headphones will be better at similar price range: £20-£30?

Thanks

That certainly sounds like a great deal.

I would snap them up at that price :o

Well my replacement 780 has arrived and there is no rattle at all, so the old set was very much faulty. I have also noticed that the noise-cancelling feature seems to be working slightly better on this set.

Looking at the volume control on this set, it's like there was a part missing inside that held the control in place on the faulty set. Hopefully its a one off but if anyone gets a rattle from the left headphone return it, it should not rattle at all.

So my build quality score certainly goes from a 7/10 to a 10/10.

Fantastic headset for the price!

rjkoneill- haha :p:p:p Nice One.
However you could make it £18- UK's cheapest price :D:cool::p

How long this price will last?

Just bought a pair of these, as well as a new Xonar DG as mine died a while back :p
