I can't I'm a vegetarian
There's a pretty big divide between gobbling a man's meat, or (e.g.) slurping down some dog's meat. One is a lot more taboo than the other. How much protein is human meat packing? If it's up at chicken / turkey levels I'm in
Meat is meat surely? Something had to die for you to eat meat, which you're OK with, so why should it bother you what creature it is?
Probably was real, and they under estimated the public.Am I on Facebook
It was a mockumentary, it wasn't real.
Got to admit first 10 minutes I was tilting my head and then the really bad acting gave it away.

It's only when you know where the meat comes from does it mess with the head. Meat is meat. Chuck a load of chilli and garlic sauce over it and you'd never know
That's very true. We see beef steak on the shelves and buy it because in our heads it's acceptable to eat a cow but if we found out rump steak was actually cut from the ass of a fat woman we would probably stop buying it even though we liked the taste. The horse meat scandal was an eye opener for many people and I haven't eaten minced beef or a supermarket steak since that happened.

Horse meat scandal is a good example. Why would you eat cow but not horse? makes no sense to me. In both cases an animal has been bread to be slaughtered for human consumption. If we watched a cow and horse being slaughtered we'd probably feel the same regardless of which we were watching yet we'll happily scoff cow but not horse at the dinner table. No logic to it!
The horse in the horse meat scandal hadn’t been bred for human consumption, it was old nags from Romania and the like that had seen out their useful days and were slipped into the food chain without any of the correct documentation.Horse meat scandal is a good example. Indeed, I honestly don't think people were too personally horrified to find out they ate horse meat. It was more that it was an undocumented animal being used in the processing. If I pay for beef I expect beef. The horse in the horse meat scandal hadn’t been bred for human consumption, it was old nags from Romania and the like that had seen out their useful days and were slipped into the food chain without any of the correct documentation.

Then that would be donkey meat, which isn't beef.but if we found out rump steak was actually cut from the ass of a fat woman we would probably stop buying it even though we liked the taste.
