Hungarian Grand Prix 2012, Budapest - Race 11/20

Just goes to show how illegal their map was.

P1 times and all that aside, with only a 1 week gap between races I doubt very much that RBR will have been able to change much other than just remove the dodgy map, so this weekend should show how much of a difference it was really worth to them.

Currently chilling on a beach with my feet up, anything interesting from either practice session yet?

Who else didn't know where Pinkham's link was going..

Speaking of wet things.. i am.............. of course referring to your girlfriend..:eek:................... who will be swimming in the olympics.

Thought I'd see if Sky Go had been updated to support ICS. Turned it on, connected fine, soaking wet track and then Schumacher crashed.

Job done, no need to watch any more, time to get some burgers on the BBQ.

:D

Mixture of Herbert, McNish and Kravitz is very good for explaining the technical side on Sky.

Will be interesting to see Red Bull pace tomorrow, German media is also reporting the FIA found them to be adjusting the ride height while in parc ferme conditions in Canda. But there was no penalty.....

Rules say any suspension change must need tools to do so, but the Red Bull had a mechanism to do it by hand.

Fantastic!

RBR do not miss a trick and will push the boundaries of the rules to their absolute limits. I fail to understand why other teams don't attempt to run closer to these limits. RBR consistently push to the limits of the rules and continue to produce the best car on the grid, while all the other teams stand by, watch, complain, moan and protest.

At some point, the penny must drop and other teams will wake up and realise that rules are there to be exploited and taken advantage of. This is the essence of F1. Playing safe does not win you the title. Even Ferrari realised this last year and made it clear that in 2012, they were going to be more adventurous and innovative with 2012 car.

As for McLaren winning the title - they've blown their chance this year. They had a good chance to win the first 3 races and build a lead. They failed to capitalise.

As a Hamilton fan, I'd love to see him move to RBR asap and win back to back titles, which is possible, if Vettel does leave for Ferrari. If Hamilton can hire a decent agent, he could have a contract with RBR giving him outright No.1 status (if Vettel leaves). If this happens, then there is no reason why he cant win 3-4 titles in a row, while Alonso and Vettel squabble at Ferrari.

Hey ho.

Yeah other teams respecting the rules is a bad thing I suppose, not sure how you can declare cheating as fantastic? if this report is true off course.

Ferrari have not really innovated anything this year have they, they said it was innovative for them as it was a break from their normal design ideas, they have nothing on the car that is innovative.
