Hungarian Grand Prix 2012, Budapest - Race 11/20

With Mclaren I do think they took a good step forward at Hockenheim and they've got more upgrades this weekend so it sounds good alright.

The comment was more aimed at utajoker than you.

You must have read my post as "mclaren are nearly a second faster they easy got this"

Rather than what it actually says.

"ALTHOUGH IT DOESNT MEAN MUCH"

It is still promising.

It seems that these threads are now just about who can prove who wrong for a weekend.

Its looking good, seems these updates are working well.

Although fp1 doesn't mean much. Mclaren nearly a second clear is promising.

Yup. Really annoys me when people speculate every race that x team is fast cause they top FP1 or FP2

With Mclaren I do think they took a good step forward at Hockenheim and they've got more upgrades this weekend so it sounds good alright.

Speculation is against your own rules!!!!! ARG!!!!!

It's not really speculating when I've mentioned actual proof that they were quick last weekend rather than just saying "WOO 1ST FP1 THEY GOT THIS!!"

:D

Should see some soft tyre and lower fuel runs in P2, so get more of an idea. Weather is looking more iffy though on the forecast this afternoon.

Did anyone see the almost incident between Maldonado and Kovalinen earlier? Basically Kovalinen was going slow on an outlap and Maldonado was going for it. Kovalinen ducked right out of the way just before a left hander but Maldonado went right too and had to take to the grass to avoid a shunt.

Just saw that. It was odd. Kovalainen went straight right after the corner and made it obvious he was getting out of the way. It's like Maldonado wasn't paying attention.
