It was nice to see seb step up this weekend for those causes as well, especially considering where the race was
Yup.

Hopefully the same people that slayed Hamilton for supporting that cause, also do so with vettel.

But we all know they won't..

Also, has anyone seen any online abuse on bottas?

Seeing as he did more damage to red bull and other drivers then Hamilton in the last race?

Stupid article. He did no such thing and I watched that in full. They don't even have a quote of him saying anything like the headline.

edit:

Here it is.

He does say at 1:58 that it needs looking at or that FIA need to look into it. The "it" could be misinterpreted in the article as FIA need to look at mercedes taking out the RBR or that FIA need to look into what happens in crash events with the cost cap. Would be surprising if the media were adding fuel to the fire.

The headline doesn't seem to match the content of the story.

Honestly, the more you read the sources the worse the F1 media seems these days. From the invented story about Toto blaming Bottas for the wheel nut thing through the crap about "second driver" Ocon to this, it seems these "journalists" are more interested in stiring a story than reporting the facts.

In no way does it equal "Horner renews call for FIA action against Mercedes".

Yeah I though they would be out in force, but I guess not, I wonder why?

Yeah, the T-shirt he wore during the national anthem was a work of genius.
Did you see Sebs interview with Lazenby on Sky? Seb turned the question about the T-Shirt back on him and asked him what he thought of it and got Lazenby dancing the about the answer more than Anton Du Beke on Strictly  just made him look proper gutless corporate man towing the company line.

Yeah he really had him over a barrel, and he did come across as a bit gutless

Best race for years I think. Yes we didn't get lots of overtakes, but on the other hand - we didn't get loads of meaningless DRS overtakes. Every time a driver gained a position it was exciting, the battle between Lewis and Alonso was excellent. Sure it only happened due to the pace differential in the cars, but that's where F1 is these days.

Well huge kudos for Ocon - outstanding job

As ever the Brits get the poor luck;
Norris rammed by Bottas being clumsy as ever
Russell having issues on the restart. Does anyone know what happened??

Got to be up there as one of the craziest Grand Prix out there

Russell had to give places back as he gained them through going past the queue of traffic as Williams are the last in the pit line.
