What a fairytale.
The team I've supported since I started watching f1 back on the top step. Thought it might never happen.

I remember alonsos first win here. And brought back the memories and emotions of alonsos two winning years .. So long ago.

It's was an amazing team effort. Ocon owes that win to alonso and himself. But Ocon absorbed all that pressure. And alonso with Hamilton is my absolute highlight of the season.

I'm so glad to be proved wrong about alonso coming back. Today was epic.

What a race.

I admit I got emotional when saw alonso and Ocon on the final parade lap.
 
If the fia penalise vettel for wearing that t shirt they will open themselves up to claims of clear discrimination.
No ifs, buts or coconuts.

You can't say you stand by on equality of colour but not on sexual orientation.

Every time a driver gained a position it was exciting, the battle between Lewis and Alonso was excellent. Sure it only happened due to the pace differential in the cars, but that's where F1 is these days.

It says a lot about the state of F1 when you can close in with a 2.5-3s per lap advantage and then not even get passed with DRS. I hope the cars next year are better. It was a race that had everything though.
 
Does anyone else follow F1 on social media? All I can say is wow.. There are some real brain surgeons commenting on all the posts today/last couple of weeks.
 
Anyone else fee 5 grid drop is quite lenient? Bottas’ driving was very poor and he took out several drivers who he is battling in the championship himself and the leader at the time. It doesn’t seem much of a benefit to Norris/Perez..etc who all scored nothing anyway

Considering the conditions and the circumstances that led up to it, anything more would have been pretty harsh.

Didn't see stroll get anything for his part in the other retirements. What's your thoughts on his lack of punishment?
