how has hamilton just matched vettel on softs when vettel is on super softs.

I edited my post to clarify, Hamilton's P2 time is still the fastest all weekend. Vettel's P3 time was a tenth slower and hamilton didn't set a competitive time.

EDIT: Quite a few gone faster now.

Hamilton on the prime tyres is just about as fast as the Red Bulls who were on the option tyre. :eek:

Button goes ~.5s faster than Hamilton. Option tyres worth between 0.8 and 1.2 seconds

Why have Red Bull, Ferrari and Button all wasted a set of soft tyres? They could all easily make the top 10 on the harder tyre. Just look how far Mercedes are away from them.

hamilton must have the confidence to risk the softs.

this HD stream test is over 10 seconds behind live timing for me rendering it pretty useless

Mines not in HD, yet I have a 20Mbps connection and get a ping of less than 24ms and average throughput of 16Mbps

How did you get to the HD video?

I just wend to sport and clicked on F1 Qualifying

The BBC Stream is always *at least* 10 seconds behind live timing, just the way it is, although checking yes this is now over 20 seconds behind for me, but meh...
