Hungary Grand Prix 2011, Hungaroring Circuit - Race 11/19

Webber 1st, Vettel 2nd, Hamilton 19th, I'll take that.

I always thought you were a Hamilton fan tbh.

Ferrari will win this if it's hot. I predict the RB will burn up the tyres too much and get passed by Fernando in the last stint.

If it's cold or wet I expect McLaren to fight RB for the win.

Then again it's hard to see how Vettel wont stick it on pole :/

Hopefully it will be an interesting race at a track I normal don't care that much about. The pressure is starting to build on Vettel and it's interesting to see if he starts driving defensively as so many do and just quietly pick up points without winning or pushing the car too hard.

I don't want him to have reliability issues but a DNF would heap more pressure on him. A DNF for Alonso or Hamilton and they might as well abandon the title challenge and go aggressive testing for next year.

Unsure tbh if Alonso or Hamilton will win this one.

Thanks as always to AH (and Duke for keeping it updated).

Have a good holiday AH. :)

As much as I'm hoping for rain to make it an interesting race, I hope this race will be a bit of an indicator as to how close the top three teams really are, especially as last year RBR were so good on this track. I fear that if it rains we won't be able to draw any solid conclusions.

Hamilton or Alonso 1st or 2nd and DNF for Vettel will start to make things quite tasty :D

Indeed. We really, really need a DNF for both redbulls really, well...mainly Vettel tbh. I completely respect and like Vettel, but in the interest of seeing a close championship I'd really like to see Vettel get a nice couple of DNFs in a row. He is generally quite lucky with the way things pan out in races and I think his champ lead is kind to him slightly. Not to say he hasn't dominated though. He's clearly quick. Nice guy too.

Not going to be able to watch Quali live (covering the Asia Trophy feat. Chelsea, Blackburn & Villa) but hopefully the tyres and DRS will make an otherwise dull track come to life.

Will be interesting to see if McLaren and more particularly Hamilton can keep up the pace from Germany. Also to see if Button can get close to Hamilton.

This will be Buttons 200th GP I hope he gets a podium and Lewis wins :)

:)
