Ye hit as a Category four on Florida big bend, still dark but have to wait and see how much damage it's caused.

It moving pretty fast, also first Hurricane to hit the big bend on record.
 
Just about my entire family are over there at the moment. Currently in Orlando but we're due to go to Anna Marie island on Saturday for a fortnight. That's looking unlikely as there's no water or electricity, the bridges aren't open and the roads are flooded. It's wrecked the gulf of Mexico facing areas because of the sea surge by all accounts.

Not seen much talk about it on these forums but the devastation in some remote parts of North Carolina is bad:


(Second video on the channel is even worse and quite depressing).

Looks like a lot of people had really narrow misses as well - it was probably within a hair of 4-5x the killed and injured.

Seen couple of people on YT who've taken their helis in to help out though looks like there is an over-abundance of first response and general clean up which is good to see but gonna take a lot more than that in the longer run to get people and communities back on their feet.
