Hurricane - Irma

Yeah - it's not that deep so far but the speed it appeared!

Nooo that was just CNN. It was the same for ages. You can see the white lines still.
Mind you I did laugh when he said "it will be 15ft soon" how do they get away with it!

And why not it's not that bad.

Well some of them clearly do know what's happening and are aware there's more on the way but some are just idiots.

Why are people driving around? I very much doubt they have any good reason to be doing so, they just think it's all over and risk getting seriously stuck when it kicks off again or if there is a surge.

That guy by the car just then seemed to be trying to clear a storm drain of tree detritus as if he thought all the water would magically drain away!

Watching ABC on YT and they showing feed from a shelter, the rain is passing by the windows sideways.. and there is a big glass front.. not boarded up at all..

Nothing bad will happen. It's just CNN making things worse then they are as normal...
It's a Cat 2 storm now but CNN it's still a over Cat 3......

TBF to CNN, it's the NHC advising of 15ft storm surges, CNN aren't making it up.
