I really don't think you can compare the GTR to Ferraris and Porsches.
It's a new breed of motor. It's very much like (sorry I know this phrase has been done to death on internet forums) a Playstation on wheels, as many critics and test drivers have stated. It implements countless pieces of electronic wizardry and computers to aid the driver and this is always going to give it a massive performance advantage.
Something like a 911 GT2 is arguably more of a driver's car. It needs driving skill, it's extremely dangerous. By contrast you can't help but think the GTR is a bit of a geek.
It's hardly a dream car either as most of you on here who really, really want one will be able to afford one in a few year's time. Fantastic car though and it does look every bit as aggressive at it performs. It's definitely a head turner but I think the ladies would still be a lot more impressed if you turned up in an Aston, Lambo etc than something the chav population masturbate over
