I despair sometimes

LOL at the people who believe that there is any such thing as "real psychics".
If you're that gullible you really need to watch out in life because you're going to be taken for many a ride you didn't want to go on.

Some of these scam artists are better at scamming than others - that is the only difference between these leaches.

Karmically, you tend to get what you deserve in life. Secondly, ghosts don't tend to 'travel' well and are bound to a particular location.

So my Great Great Great grandad is not interested in my well being but if I am a good person or not? cheers pops and ghosts are bound to a particular location but can see into the future at that location? so how wide is this location..how far can they travel?

Being keyed into certain energies and experiences.

But I shan't discuss it anymore, I've been there and back many times over here and it always gets absolutely nowhere. There's no point in discussing the movements of spirits if you don't believe they even exist. That would be like discussing the movements of the Third Reich while not believing in Nazi Germany.

This post is bang on. A few things have happened to people I know that have made me think there is something in it.

Although a lot of them are fakers obviously.
 
I'm inclined to think that some people do have psychic ability but that the field is full of money making charlatans.

Ghosts on the other hand, just nah.
 
MrRoper, I believe the jist of Iamzod's little anecdote was that the psychics knew of the *****'s 'crime' at the time they made the initial cuts, prior to them actually nicking off with the fence or anyone finding the evidence.

To be honest, there's more reason to say that ghosts and spirits exist than to say they don't.

No-one has ever been able to disprove their existence and though science may refute them, scientific opinion is always being revised. Spirits have been seen, felt, heard, summoned and experienced in other ways for centuries, and appear in countless folklore tales, religious texts and historical accounts all over the world since the beginning of man. Any video or photo gets "fake" screamed at it and there will never be an official word on it for fear of terrifying the masses.
 
There are quite a few inexplicable events that have occurred to people on these forums that don't quite fit a number of posters understanding of the scientific paradigm in this thread. They would prefer we be uneducated and liars sadly. @ lysander research the After Life chronicles. Strictly speaking there is nothing contradictory between science and the paranormal if you take in to consideration it is our understanding and application of science is at fault.

Which is fair enough, however why do all ghosts talk in riddles? why didn't they just say. Some 'so and so' has cut the bleeding fence wire, get it sorted before the horses escape? It seems ghost have no ability to be concise and to the point!

There is no reason scientifically to presume ghosts exist. It would presume that our brain has the ability to maintain state even after it has died, or that humans posses a magical property or a soul if you will.

Also the fact that a lot of scam artists prey on people doesn't help its cause either
