I don't care for it, or do I?

Found it. Still on the lookout for the remote control and my collection of discs.

@kona786 - lovely! Get it on eBay!

I had a blue MZ-N1 bought in Hong Kong in 2002. That broke before the MZR-50 (plasticky lid stopped closing properly). Great bit of kit for the time. Those seem to be fetching decent money too! Not sure why you’d bother these days though.

Yeah it looks so sleek and retro cool. I feel attached to it. Oh the memories.
But that'll soon fade and it will end up on ebay once I find the other bits. Saw my old metal slim cassette Walkman in the loft too.

The MZ-N1 looks great, looks like the same remote. I remember the N10 being the special edition for 10th anniversary. And to get the grey model instead of the silver I had to import it direct from Japan via Audiocubes.

Edit.

And oh gosh, Sony's Sonicstage software. Basically an iTunes equivalent back on the day.

Sony Walkman Mega Bass. Cassette, thank you.

4/5 when I was in high school but now, in a meeting? Someone's having an harprischord! Ain't they!

5/5 Bass Rumble | 1/5 Sound profile | 10/5 me listening to it

Oh no.
I used to have one of them. But it's been so long since anyone played with it, I'm not sure if it still works.
