I Found a Cat!

GIve it water and cat food, or bacon or some meat. He will be round your house all the time. See if you can buy him a collar saying 'Do you own this cat? Call xxyour numberxx'

If no one calls it keep the cat. Well, keep feeding it maybe.

Don't give it milk or tuna, both are bad for a cat.

I think he's a bit camera shy, I pulled out my phone and he climbed up me and is now sleeping somewhere between my lap and my armpit. He's demolished a fair bit of the Whiskers though.

He's probably not had a solid meal in a while, cant help but feel for him, I love cats so much its silly, but they choose their owners, and sounds like he's warming upto you :)

Both of our cats had problems with crystals in their bladders with normal wet tinned food, so I give them dry food now (Hills) and plenty of water. I'd avoid anything like Sheba or Whiskas temptations as they are like junk food for cats according to our vet, and we used to give ours that as a treat around the time they had urinal problems.
Strange, my vet attributed the crystals in my cat's bladder as a direct result of a totally dry diet (specifically Hills) and not enough water. He suggested that I use some wet food in their diet to help - and I also got this water fountain thing which they love.

But back on topic, if you start feeding and watering a cat and giving him more than he's getting at home (if he's getting anything at all, or even has a home) then there's a very good chance you may have a new friend around a lot more often :)

same with mine, crystals due to dry food, so had to cut that out and give extra wet

Not enough pictures of cats in a cat thread. So here is one of mine. I welcome you to say hi to Garfield.

On milk:

Cats are lactose intolerant.
It isn't a matter of what the cat likes or will eat - almost all animals although having general sense will eat & drink things that are not good for them.

It isn't some "cunning ploy" when you see Cat Milk on the shelf at your local supermarket.
In those containers you'll find the kind of milk that a cat would get from its mother, so it is 100% safe to give it.
Cows milk shouldn't be given to cats no matter how much they like it and the cat appears to be OK.

Scary the amount of cat owners that weren't aware of this.

do you eat fast food from time to time?

edit: and actually the lactose, or milk sugar is only found difficult to digest by SOME cats
