I Found a Cat!

the cat is now yours :)

if in need a of new home when roaming, they will pick one and that is where they want to be, in this case it is you - take good car of him, if no one knows who he belongs to, where he comes from etc its fair to say he is homeless

this is how we got one of our cats, even after putting up posters etc no one came forward so we took him in for good, one of the best cats you could ever find too

This is Molly.

She constantly has bad breath, but is stupidly affectionate. She makes wierd meowing noises when she runs as if shes talking, and when ever she is asleep and senses anyone in the room, she automatically rolls upward expecting a belly rub.

And yes, Cat Milk is good, she drinks it like water. We normally feed her either Felix or Whiskas pouches, but will only eat with Whiskas temptation buiscuits.

do you eat fast food from time to time?

nuff said

edit: and actually the lactose, or milk sugar is only found difficult to digest by SOME cats

Yeah, but the vet told me not the feed my cat milk because it can lead to future digestive problems. Mine's only 3 and it had to spend about 3 weeks in the vets because a kidney stone got stuck in his bladder. And that was because of the milk we used to feed him.

Cats CANNOT digest Cows milk. they lack the Enzyme. feeding cats cows milk is bad for them!

Not enough pictures of cats in a cat thread. So here is one of mine. I welcome you to say hi to Garfield.

Is that a female cat? Anyone noticed how female cats kind of cross paws when they stand like that (just like how human women stand with their legs crossed over).

_______________

To OP:

I'd get that cat washed by a groomer or by yourself and get a once over as if it is bringing in lice and disease you don't want to suffer any as humans can't be cured by animal diseases.

For food test that Whiskers and see how it responds.

Pick it up and check its parts, then you'll know if its a geezer or not ^^ and it is nice of you to take it in you just made a furry loyal friend!!!

IMO that is a male cat from the looks.

no, you're wrong, even whiskas admits only some cats may have a bad reaction, mine didnt, and lived 19 years, my nans cat also didnt and lived 23 years, you just cant spread that crap arround.

it's like some people will take drugs/alcohol/tobacco all their life and live till a ripe old age of 89 without a hiccough, and some people take it once and die of lung cancer at 36, or and overdose at 16, or liver failure at 50.

you just can't use blanket statements without viewing all cases

I agree. Garfield and our other milk loving cat, Poppy love it. We only give then a little ammount every other day or so. As a treat.

They never had any problems digesting milk and probably will never have any. Cows milk isnt the best for them but still ok for them to drink in moderation juts like us with booze etc.

lies tbh

as said my cat drank milk for over 20 years

LOADS of it . he was fit as a fiddle all his life .

if you left something milky about hed drink it , if you had milk hed meow for it , if you left something with only a tiny bit of milk in hed somehow get it out

when i had finished my breakfast cerial my cat used to jump onto the table and finish off the milk (i hate milk on its own) :D i think as he got older that became the favourite part of his day :( he used to sleep (moreso) for the rest of it :(
he would still make the effort to climb up the stairs to cuddle up in bed though

.

It's standing like that beacuse it's in a bowl and needs to do so for balance / comfort.

Most ginger / red cats are male it is very rare to get a female one. I'll bet it's a male cat. I had a female one for 17 years tho!

You love your cat far too much :D.

Milk and tuna are both bad things to regularly feed a cat. My cats love the Felix as good as it gets sachets, which you can buy individually for about 30p.

Cheers for that. People actually groom cats for a living?

Most cats will happily have cows milk. I quote from the vet - that's who I'm going to believe :)

OP - is the cat more affectionate since you've had it?
