I got me 3D printer, awesome!

Nice machine Demon and lovely prints and photos, lol.

I am going to try very hard to do a thing a week next year with time-lapse video for my YouTube channel.

Plus I've got another printer on the way (NFire 1) and a Ebay purchase I found last week (Arduino Materia 101) to put together so It's going be a busy 2016 for 3D printing.

Plus the new metal hot end from Printrbot to fit.

Have a nice Christmas my fellow 3D Printer uses, lol.

James.

Edit,

New blog post, what's been happening and what's coming 2016 - Blog Update #4

Very nice pictures and updates Demon :)
I'm glad Christmas is just about over because if someone asks me to make one more snow flake I will go mad :D

Well I was going to hold this off until after Xmas as it's a present for someone but they should see this so...

Behold a 3D printed Lightsaber with light up blade.

And a video

@bulb66
Thanks absolutely fantastic dude. How long in total did it take you?

Print time was about 11hrs plus a few extra parts when I modified them to fit a blade.

Then it took a few days to paint (with drying time) and then wiring and fitting it all in.

Just hope my brother likes it, then I get to make one for myself :-).

Wow! I know a few people that would love that!!!

Sweet man , let me know how it goes. I might try and get it printed here if I can find a place and its reasonable. The delid tool on the shop is is expensive enough :(

I've fixed the STL file. It will take another hour or two to finish.
I don't want any money if you have it.

Just been told it's got another 5-7 hours to run :(
I did put the infill at 100% and good finish settings :)

I always do the same, if I'm printing for other people, I try to make it look as good as possible!!!

Just installed my 35W heater, and so can use a variety of fan ducts now, so will be trying a few test prints to figure out which works best..

I've just printed a Maker Faire robot for my son, it came out quite well, the only scarring is where their built in supports attached..

Finished and I've sent you a email via trust.

I was going to print that other version. But 50 hours is a bit long for me :D

I never knew OCUK sold something like this. But at £60!! yikes.

Guys

It was suggested I post here, looking for some help in designing a case for the below screen.

I also need mounting holes in the back, which I have still to measure out.

Can anyone help?

The base that the box is to sit on is below. The two outer screws cannot be removed, so I would like them to be able to go into the box, so that it can sit flush against the unit. Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks
