I used to get annoyed a few years back when they would be going off constantly for like a month before November 5th and then all the way up to newyears and beyond. But recently it seems to have died down a lot. Only hear them on the 5th and maybe a few days after that.

This morning I had black stuff over the top of my car and on the boot. I assumed these were from the fireworks at night and the fact that a used rocket tube lay next to the car....
I now officially hate neighbourhood fireworks as well!

had 10 proper ones so had about 30 mins worth.

Yup - spent a nice afternoon cleaning my car, although to be fair most of it was prob from my fireworks last night and the car was due it's winter wax anyway.
Make sure you clean it off asap - it's acidic - forms sulfuric acid when it gets damp/rains.

How did they not explode? It's a cool video but people did that before a few years ago and one just missed my face as I was walking.
So basically every minute for half an hour he burned around £16, lovely.
Same here they will be for a few days yet. Time to close the windows.

No OP, you're not the only one who doesn't like them. I don't see the attraction of them myself, but I don't begrudge anyone else enjoying a display. Leave 'em to it!

I can't it winds me up rotten. I remember last year a firework flew through someones window, a single woman's home.
A single woman, oh the horror. What if it were children or puppies, OH MY GODDDDDD!
Maybe you should complain to your MP or put angry letters through everyone's door.
Or just stop whining.
