I love the fact that smoking has been banned in indoor public spaces however its not enough IMO. It just means smokers go and sit outside in the public places or huddle round the main door, forcing you to wade through their stench to get inside. The law should be changed (or at least upheld) to ban people from smoking within 5-10m of a public entry within communal sitting areas outside (such as pub gardens).

Yeah harsh I know but it stinks and can ruin n enjoyable evening when someone comes outside, sits behind you and starts smoking.

You clearly don't have to sit at work next to someone who coughs and splutters all day long due to their 40 fags a day.

I must admit, the smoke that comes out from the Nestle Factory here at York always smell gorgeous, now if smoke from cigarette smelled like that, I bet no one would complain

I really don't like smoking, grew up in a smoke free house, but I don't get stressed out about it. Having said that my boyfriend smoked when we first got together and I used to hate kissing him after he'd been smoking. When he decided to quit about 2 years ago it was awesome. Now he says he wishes he'd never done it in the first place because it's going to be something he's going to have to work at all the time, he says he could easily start again, even after 2 years smoke free.
His parents smoke and its horrible if we've been at their house, coming back smelling of smoke.

Unfortunately smokers can't smell it, though if you quit even for a few days ooft its horrible.

I don't notice it at the time (when at friend's house and his mum usually smokes at the back door with it open).
However in the morning I go to put the clothes back on and I am almost sick. They go straight into the washing basket.

I kinda agree with that too tbh, although most people don't drive around in areas where people sit. More town and city centres should be fossil fuel free imo, reduces pollution and increases exercises, win win!

They never believe me when I say I can smell it on my skin, if someone's smoking I have to leave immediately. It's not a nice smoke smell neither like burning wood it's a horrible smell that gets right up your nose and lingers.
