i just got dead space 2 but i'm so disappointed

I've been watching this thread since it has started and it certainly has entered super nova. :p

I wish you all the best in fighting for more customisation Gareth, I signed the petition also. It's just ludicrous not being able to assign buttons however you like in this day and age of gaming.

Hopefully some big-ass gaming company is reading and will set Gareth up with a killer new rig! Woohoo!

I've never tried moulding anything before, but I imagine if a custom mould could be manufactured, the guts of a mouse could easily be trasferred to something and give you access to more buttons/controls. Well, TBH the guts of any controller could and would do.

Okie dokie, I think we have one of those lying around in the office. I'm going to have a play around if I can find it and if I can swap the connections for those buttons over or write a program to allow you to use the additional buttons that don't currently work for you, then you can have it if you want it. :)
