i just got dead space 2 but i'm so disappointed

this is a amazing story and really hope you get a result gareth.

just goes to show you what kind of people there on this and other forums who deal with a disability and just get on with it.

my hat goes of to you gareth.

if you lived a bit closer i would come and say hi.

Signed and hopefully all this will make devs think before applying generic controls to every game they shove out the door :)

autohotkey is not a mouse software, it allows you to bind or macro keys no matter what they are.

Its very simple to use and im sure it would help you in the interim before a EA get back to you with a solution that will satisfy everyone.
what i meant by mouse software is remapping program

the other 2 buttons on top of my mouse can't be remapped with any other remapping program.

so i only have 3 buttons i can remap in those programs...

also these days we shouldn't need to use remapping programs

Hi Gareth,

I would try autohotkey as in theory it shouldnt matter what software is running AHK will work. It simple tells the computer if mouse button 1 is pressed then tell computer "W" is pressed. It also has an easy to use recorder so you can press the mouse button and it should tell you what mouse button it is.

Also what mouse do you currently use?

Hey Gareth,

As Graham Smith said, PC Gamer have asked me to do a piece on this for the website, and perhaps to integrate it into a piece on disability I'm writing for the magazine this week. What's the best way of getting in touch with you?

Does Dead Space 2 not use a config file that you can bind different keys with?

If it's anything like Borderlands though, it will be a pain in the arse.
