I think its great the developers want to talk with him and try and sort this.. Hats off to all involved and for getting more awareness out there..

I'm so impressed I'm selling my copy of Dead Space 2 (on PS3 that hasn't been played yet lol) and getting the PC version.. It'll have better graphics anyhow - just to support the PC platform...!! Guess my £25 purchase won't matter much but i'll feel better for doing this..

Hope it all gets sorted, but looks like it will. Result.

Ive been thinking that to.

My main thought at the moment is how easy would it be to create a custom mouse with a mini keyboard on it (6 or so buttons).

I know you can create a HID profile with both keyboard and mouse information on one usb connection.

I could probably hack a cheap mouse apart and work out how to decode the IR or laser information and can create a micro, that can combine that with mouse buttons and the mini keyboard and send it down a usb cable.

I could even create a program that will allow you to make profiles for games and even change what key is returned when you press a button.

So instead to remapping the game you could remap the mouse.

The only problem i would have is mechanical, creating the casing and buttons. oh and time, it would take a lot of time to write all the code required to get it working.
