OP clearly hasn't watched that documentary that was on about a year ago where some fat American weirdo met someone online from Russia...
Cameras followed him around.
He paid for flights, she never arrived, yet still she managed to suck him back in with excuses of why she couldn't get to the airport etc. It went on for years.
Turned out she was transgender when he went over to meet her.
He was utter facepalm through the whole program too!
